I recently stayed at Viet Duc Guest House for 3 nights. The location was convenient and quiet, with beautiful views from my room's balcony on the 3rd floor. The room itself was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and warm duvets. The staff were outstanding, providing exceptional hospitality and being both outgoing and friendly. The overall experience was welcoming, comfortable, and great value for money.
Would recommend this hotel.

The place had a fancy garden, a shared lounge , and a lovely terrace. There was even an ATM, because who doesn't want to withdraw money in the middle of nowhere?
The only thing missing was a red carpet at the entrance. Oh, and maybe a personal butler to fan me while I lounged in the garden.

We had a blast exploring central Sa Pa with our kids! The host family at Viet Duc Guest House was incredibly kind and helpful. They also gave us great deals for tourist attractions. The food prepared for us was always fresh and in generous portions. Staying at this homestay was definitely worth the money. The host family also went out of their way to recommend the best spots for us to visit in Vietnam.
For dads, it would be great if there were more kid-friendly activities nearby.

Garden: The lush green garden at the guest house was like a mesmerizing oasis in the midst of Sa Pa. It provided a peaceful escape where I could relax and unwind, surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants.
Damp smell: The only downside was a faint damp smell in the room.
